With architects Hogg & Lamb at the helm, riverside restaurant Tillerman boasts a fit-out that is as impeccable as its menu. The team engaged Ferrier Furniture to create custom pieces and components that completed their nautical vision.
Working with premium hardwoods, we delivered a built-for-purpose bar, shelving, wait stations and wine racks. Each piece was meticulously crafted for both utility and style, enhancing the restaurant’s luxurious, contemporary-meets-coastal ambiance.
Pairing brass with the venue’s signature Spotted Gum, the Ferrier team crafted custom wait stations for the dining room. With practical features and polished details, these pieces were designed to ensure efficient service while contributing to Tillerman’s solid sense of style.
Yacht deck-style joinery is a feature of the bar, creating elegant, elongated lines that exude symmetry and sophistication.
To complement the elevated ceilings of Tillerman’s dining area, the bar was built using natural Spotted Gum. Yacht deck-style joinery was a feature of this centrepiece, creating elegant, elongated lines that exude symmetry and sophistication.
12m floating shelves were installed behind the bar, providing a sturdy platform to showcase Tillerman’s top drops. As striking as they are practical, these shelves were crafted from solid Spotted Gum that stretches the width of the space.
Floor-length mirrors and vanity shelves were fashioned for Tillerman’s powder room, again bringing the warmth of spotted gum into this space. Featuring a curved frame influenced by modernist design, they reflect a commitment to distinction and detail that extends far beyond the plate.
