Designed by Capezio Copeland, Badger & Co is a bright, contemporary bar at Canberra’s Australian National University. Ferrier Furniture was engaged to build a range of furniture for this relaxed multi-use venue.
As a space for students to gather, have a few brews and listen to live music, Badger & Co called for durable, functional pieces that were sturdy and simple to maintain. We put a few of our Ferrier staples to the task, customising a range of our Signature Barstools, Outdoor Barstools and stackable Dining Chairs.
Victorian Ash and Blackbutt timber were paired with brown leather and charcoal fabrics – selections that suit the venue beautifully.
These timbers were used for a selection of indoor and outdoor table tops, each completed with a sturdy-yet-lightweight powder coated steel base in a range of grey hues. Five custom dining tables and dry bars were finished with a quartz carpet inlaid top – mirroring the finish used throughout the build.
